Cannabidiol, which is an essential component of medical marijuana is the new big trend in the wellness industry. First things first - no it will not make you high or develop a dependency on these products!
CBD can treat and aid both serious and common health conditions. This powerful ingredient has been shown to reduce the number of seizures in those experiencing epilepsy syndrome. For day-to-day use, there are products pouring on to pharmacy shelves that help to treat anxiety and insomnia.
However, using CBD long-term, or over using these products, can have side effects such as fatigue, irritability, and upset stomach. They can also interact with other medications, so it is good to consult with your doctor first.
Bare in mind that cannabidiol is not heavily regulated! Therefore, it is very complicated to know how “active” the product is. The other problem is that we don’t still know how this ingredients interacts with other ingredients.
Should you take CBD oil to treat your anxiety or improve your sleep? We are willing to give these supplements a try but will be patiently waiting for well-designed clinical studies to better understand whether this “miracle” product really helps or if it is a placebo.
Having said that…we are dying to try the Not Pot CBD gummies! What about you?
