Our Review: If you had to ask me before my switch to natural products what the natural brand that I couldn’t live without was, it would be Eminence. Their products are organic, natural, sustainable & cruelty-free plus have the added benefit of being free of parabens, phtalates, sodium lauryl sulfate & propylene glycol. While you might think “ugh sounds a little bit too intense for me“, I would encourage you to have a look at their products, especially their masks. They come in all different colours (fun for your beauty shelf), and each one of targets different skin conditions, which means they are great for combo skin and double masking (ie-using different masks for different parts of the face). When I feel my skin dehydrated, especially after a long day in the sun or after travelling, I use the Blueberry Soy Repair Masque. My skin loves it, as it really soaks it in and has a very calming effect. This is also a great mask to do after a chemical exfoliant to rebalance the skin!
For Who: Anyone who has dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin! I wouldn’t recommend this mask for oily and congested skin. Not because it doesn’t work, but they have other masks targeted for this skin type, The Clear Skin Probiotic Masque. The Probiotic Mask is my go to when on my period, as my skin is more congested during this time.
Tip: As mentioned above, use it as a treat for your skin! After a long flight, long day, stressful week when you need a moment of calm .When using the mask, take 15 minutes to yourself breathe deeply or read a book to fully calm down inside & out.
